About this Product
This listing is for your choice of an 14, 16 or 18 inch across custom painted, real wood, Lazy Susan, turntable. We make our Lazy Susans one at a time and often times make them to match our clients colors. Here are some answers to questions you may have. This one has been sold. We will make one for you almost, just like this. It might be a little nicer. The more we make, the better we get. If you would like the color altered, as in lighter or darker and you can't find a listing that you like, send a note. I'm very happy to work with your colors. Please read the “How it’s made “ section below. It contains all sorts of information.k
I have been using the epoxy resin for about 10 years. It is messy, tricky stuff. We have become pretty good at finishing our Lazy Susan’s.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you find something that you like. If not, I am happy to make custom colors to match your decor. I'm not very good at writing names on the front. I've done it before, and wished I hadn't.
Hope to make something for you soon. Janet and Mike

Meet the Maker
Hi everyone, I am Janet Dineen, a handmade maker of Mosaic Art, Custom House numbers and Lazy Susans. Custom orders are my specialty. Feel free to ask about anything that you have in mind. Many times, the best ideas come from people like you.
I currently live in Aransas Pass, Texas where I am very lucky to have a home studio where I can work in the lovely air conditioning. My husband Mike and I work together on many of the projects, he cuts the wood and I paint.
We have a little dog named Dolly and her job is to keep us entertained and chase squirrels.
I welcome people into my home studio to visit or purchase something that I might have available. I hope to make something special for you soon. Cheers!
How it’s Made
We use real wood, Maple or Birch. Not MDF.
We cut them out ourselves with a jig saw.
3. We sand, route the edges and sand more.
4. We prime the piece and then paint the design.
After it dries, we apply three coats of brush on Varathane , sanding between the second and third coat.
The Lazy Susan is then finished with two part epoxy resin, the kind that is poured on. It creates a super glossy, strong, hard, glass like finish. Most times a second coat is needed.
The edges are finished nicely. 7. We use a made in the USA ball bearing swivel that is made to hold 500 lbs.
The metal ball bearing swivel is covered with a nice, sanded and painted round of 1/2 inch wood.
Felt bumpers are applied to protect your furniture.
Each one is signed and dated by artist Janet Dineen
I wrap them up in new pizza boxes for shipping.
I’m always happy to enclose a hand made gift card with your note to the receiver if it happens to be a gift.
